We all have unique relationships in our lives, but are they healthy ones? What are the key ingredients to healthy relationships and how do we navigate them in a digital world?
What is resilience? How can we recover from setbacks and forge ahead? Participants and facilitators will explore how to handle challenges and cope with difficulties.
Do self-esteem and body confidence go hand in hand? Participants and facilitators will explore positive and healthy affirmations, strategies to promote healthy self-esteem and the impact of social media.
Participants and facilitators will travel through the process of developing and sustaining a growth mindset. How can we embrace successes and mistakes to support future decision-making and problem solving?
The Passion Project is the creation of a mini newsletter. Participants will create one personal piece of work to share with their cohort peers and the larger youth community.
Using mediums of their choice (writing, drawing, photography, etc.), participants will contribute anything that they feel passionate about as it relates to their experiences with the program, what they learned, and what matters to them and their intersecting identities.
Participants are encouraged to be as creative as they like with their piece of work! Youth must complete the Passion Project to receive the honorarium.
